Thanks to all who turned up for Friday Night Drinks at the Hotel Slon Cafe in Ljubljana last Friday. We had a good turnout and a very enjoyable evening for our first event of the season, with a number of friendly new faces joining us. We've posted some fantastic photos of the evening online, thanks to our new photographer Ian Middleton (you can also find older FND photos on the FND Facebook group and the FND Flicker site). Ian offers a new photography service in which people are portrayed in a more natural environment, rather than in the confines of a studio, and is available for all manner of portrait work and special events. Special thanks also to Gerry Docherty of The Business Center and Kevin Morrison from Slovenia Relocations for sponsoring the free drinks at the start of last Friday's event. Gerry and Kevin are long-time supporters of FND and both offer outstanding services for expats.
We look forward to seeing everyone again for our second event this month on the 23rd of October, in which we'll have a live performance with the ICS band.
